Our Managing Director, Jon Pendrill, is set to share even more insights at the Inside Housing Communications Conference on Thursday 14 September from 14.50am to 15.35pm.
Jon will share insights from ‘Bolton Manbassadors’, a grassroots initiative aimed at reducing the stigma and normalising conversations around men’s mental health.
The project was a collaboration between Maxmedia and Bolton at Home and won Campaign of the Year at the 2022 UK Housing Awards.
Jon will feature on a panel covering how organisations can effectively campaign for change to create mental health services that meet the needs of customers.
Sharing his thoughts, Jon said, “In an age where mental health challenges are on the rise, awareness has become imperative. With stats revealing one in five adults grappling with a mental health condition, we’re passionate about making a difference.
“I’m delighted to spotlight our award-winning campaign, Bolton Manbassadors, which has broken barriers in conversations surrounding men’s mental health.
“I urge every delegate attending the conference to join us for what’s going to be a really enlightening panel.”
The conference will see Jon share a stage with Steve Hayes, Director of Corporate Affairs and Communications at GreenSquareAccord, Charlene Grant, Communications and Fundraising Manager at Sanctuary Mental Health Society and Balbir Chatrik, Director of Policy and Communications at Centrepoint.
The Inside Housing Communications Conference is the sector’s leading one-day conference addressing how to communicate proactively and authentically with tenants, residents, colleagues and stakeholders.
