Maxmedia joins forces with Northern Housing Consortium for sector-first retrofit toolkit

We’ve been chosen by the Northern Housing Consortium (NHC) to help create and deliver a sector-first retrofit toolkit.

The goal of the campaign is to engage and guide tenants through the process of retrofit and provide housing associations with the tools to secure support and participation.

The decision to appoint us follows research conducted by project leads NHC, Placeshapers and Tpas, highlighting the need for improved communication with tenants about retrofit.

As winners of ‘Campaign of the Year’ at the UK Housing Awards 2022, we feel we’re really well positioned to bring our creative expertise to the project.

We will deliver the project alongside Dominic Ridley-Moy from the Behaviour Change Network.

Our Managing Director, Jon Pendrill, shared his enthusiasm for the project: “We’re really excited to lead the creative on this communications toolkit. It fits well with our belief that good creative work can bring about important change in society.”

Social landlords are planning major retrofit works over the next two years, with the aim to retrofit an average of 800 homes.

We will be using our creative skills to help housing associations meet climate goals, and crucially, ensure that tenants are informed, engaged, and supported throughout the retrofit process.
